Our Story

What began as a private project in 2023 grew into a product that rethinks how application security is done. Early conversations with developers at industry conferences made one thing clear: traditional scanners were missing real, exploitable vulnerabilities, and developers needed something sharper. The response to those early demos confirmed the approach, and we made VirtualSpace AppSec publicly available. It has seen strong adoption since, and the roadmap of AI-powered capabilities ahead is what we are most excited about.

VirtualSpace is built around dependable support and a forward-thinking approach to security tooling. We focus on local static analysis and vulnerability detection for software owned by, or explicitly authorized to, the customer. Following our earlier VirtualSpace Snapshot project (now deprecated for some time), VirtualSpace AppSec is our flagship product. It supports Windows 10 and 11, delivering static application security analysis for source projects you own or are authorized to review, with extensive scan options and customizable rule sets. We continue to grow our presence on platforms such as GitHub and X, so we stay close to the developer community and keep improving alongside the people who use VirtualSpace AppSec every day. Working in the open this way keeps us transparent and accountable: a registered business with a verifiable public presence, a clear track record, and a single official point of contact, so every customer always knows exactly who they are buying from.

About VirtualSpace AppSec

VirtualSpace AppSec combines static analysis with AI-assisted analysis engines, using machine-learning models trained on vulnerability classes and secure-coding patterns to identify security weaknesses in your applications. Concerned about your privacy? Everything runs locally. Your source code and scan results never leave your system, and analysis happens entirely on your own machine except for a limited license check. We cannot access or analyze your code remotely, and we never store it for training. Because your code never reaches us in the first place, this local-by-design model keeps us aligned with the GDPR principle of data minimisation: there is simply no personal or proprietary code on our side to expose, transfer, or breach.

Support at VirtualSpace

We offer support through dedicated email with a one business-day response target, alongside in-app guidance to get you scanning quickly. We continually refine our channels around how customers actually work, because timely, helpful interaction is essential to getting real value from a security analysis tool like VirtualSpace AppSec. Email is our only official support channel. We do not provide support, sales, or account assistance through other platforms.

Our Vision

We see beyond generic, one-size-fits-all AI scanning. We envision application security that is proactive, intelligent, and accessible to individual developers, open-source maintainers, students, freelancers, and small teams. VirtualSpace is sold as downloadable local software, not as a managed enterprise SaaS, marketplace, payment intermediary, or customer-facing AI model. To be explicit: we do not sell to businesses or enterprises. VirtualSpace AppSec is a direct-to-consumer product for individual developers and small developer teams only, with no enterprise, business, or reseller plans and no business onboarding or procurement. Our goal is to keep raising the bar on detection accuracy while keeping the workflow simple and the analysis fully under your control.
